Episode #105B "Zak's song"
Written By: Not Stated, check later.
Overview: [courtesy of South Dakota PBS]
Challenge: Doing what you believe is right instead of following others
The dragons summon Max and Emmy to help them locate the source
of beautiful, early morning music they've been hearing in Dragon
Land. They spot Do-Re-Mi birds and, eager to join them in song,
Zak instructs everyone to imitate their soft sounds. Insisting
on a more aggressive approach, the others instead try excitedly
flying toward the birds, singing loudly, throwing dragonberries,
birdcalling, and dressing in wild bird costumes. The elegant songbirds
repeatedly react with horror to these displays and, in panic,
retreat further and further away.
What I saw:
They all hear beautiful music and find their source: Do-Re-Mi birds. Wheezie scares them off with loud noise. They all get them back by singing a soft song.
Thought the lesson was to be quiet.
Comments:
There is an awesome scene where the kids and dragons are sitting, with a big blue sky, it's a prime picture for the menu picture of the next DVD release... I'd be disappointed of they don't use that.
