Episode #101A "The Forest of Darkness"

With a little bit of magic, Quetzal opens his Big Storybook and gives Ord a very special assignment -- to locate the Star Tree in the Forest of Darkness and bring back one of its Star Seeds. There's only one problem: Ord is afraid of the dark! With a little help from his friends, Ord learns some creative new ways to cope with his fear.

What I saw:

Ord has to get a star seed, but he's scared of darkness. Ord vanishes, cries Paul Bunyan style. a big-eyed bird spooks the party into a hollowed out log, but helps them. Ord's badge glows. Ord launches the star seed, and it glows in the sky.

Comments: Ord really cries Paul Bunyan style, he cried so much for his blue ox, the copious tears became a river. Just like Ord did when he cried.

The Big Eyed bird has a reprise in a later episode "Ord Sees the Light" A really friendly chap.

When Ord says "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can," a bird hoots off. This reminded me of "the Little Engine that Could" Coming soon, the audio clip. It's great to listen to.

Zak kept his mouth opened in a way and in a certain shape that he doesn't burn his mouth with the firebreath... For an explanation of how the firebreath works, check the environment page.

The way Quetzal mentions that they would not miss Ord's star seed in the sky, sounds like they are on the same world and the same dimension. I don't believe this to be true. It could be because of some magical thing that's not explained yet...

Goofs/Missing Items: The star seed thing at the end, it is confusing.
