| Keepitup! was developed to keep your internet connection alive. Many applications just ping an IP address and that is all. Keepitup! actually simulates opening an internet page on the world wide web. Keepitup! is fully automatic, meaning, this application knows when the computer is connected, and starts working when a connection is sensed. No additional CPU is used unnecessarily. Keepitup! was developed using modern developmental tools, which of course means that this application is 32 bit. Keepitup! is compatible with Windows95, 98, ME, NT, Windows2000, and Windows XP. |
| Installation Instructions After downloading the file keepitup.zip. If there is an application on your pc installed like WinZip, double-clicking keepitup.zip should bring up Winzip. Most compression apps like Winzip will give you an option to install the app. Pick this option if available, if not, uncompress keepitup.zip and then double-click on setup.exe. The wizard will install all necessary files needed for the program to run. A short cut will be created on your desktop with an icon of a shield and sword, and is named Keepitup! Double-click on this and the shield will appear on your icon tray. The application is now enabled. Bring your cursor down to the lower right hand corner of your screen, (icon tray), and place it on the Keepitup! icon. Left double-click to view connection statistics, or configure Keepitup! to start automatically when your PC boots. Right mouse click on the icon and that will enable you to shutdown Keepitup!
