Before you start
PbrickDev is based on the Spirit.ocx COM component,
which is a piece of code that lets an application communicate with the RCX. In
order to work with PbrickDev you must first have Spirit.ocx registered on
your computer. If you have installed the original Lego software for programming
the RCX then Spirit.ocx is already registered, if not then follow these few
steps:

The
ZIP files contains all the files needed to install PbrickDev on your
computer, including the files listed below. Unzip all 3 files, start the Setup.exe program and follow the instructions on the screen. |

This file containes the latest version of PbrickDev,
it is different from the version found in the setup file. Download this
file after you have successfully installed PbrickDev or download this
file if you already have Visual Basic� 6.0 runtime libraries
registered on your computer. In case you encountered any problems, it is
recommended that you download PbrickDev.zip and run the setup
program. To learn about the changes in the latest version please go to Release Notes Page. |

this file and unzip it to the same directory that you have unzipped
PbrickDev.exe . (You do not have to do this if you used the full setup e.g. PbrickDev.zip). |
