The Philippian jailer, in Acts 16:30, asked Paul the Apostle this question: " Sirs, what must I Do to be Saved?" The Bible clearly tell us that We may KNOW how to be SAVED and that we may KNOWthat we have we have ETERNAL Life. (1 John 5:13) That's GREAT NEWS, but... In order to be saved, YOU must understand and accept four "R's" of God's plan of Salvation: Realize, Recognize, Repent and Receive. |
| 1. Realize Two things: 1. "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) Yes, my friend, NONE of Us are good enough to deserve to go to heaven, because we have all sin at some time in our lives. Because of that sin the bible says: 2. "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23a) Sinners must pay for their sin by being enternally seperated from God in a place the bible calls the Lake of Fire (Rev.20:11-15 & 21:8) The good news is that God does not want any one to go there, but He is a Holy God who can not let sin into heaven. | 2. Recognize: Three things: 1. Jesus Christ, God's Son, took our place and Died for our Sin on the cross: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Yes, that is Right, God knew that unless he did something on our behalf, NO ONE EVER could go to Heaven. It is all by God's MERCY and GRACE! 2. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) Eternal life in Heaven can neither be deserved nor earned - it is a FREE GIFT. 3. "For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) |
| 3. Repent: The next thing you must do is TURN AWAY from your life of Self Will and TURN TOWARD a life of Surrender To and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Mark 1:15 "...the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." Isaiah 55:6-7 " Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." SIMPLY BELIEVING INTELLECTUALLY THAT YOU ARE SINNER, THAT GOD LOVES YOU, AND THAT CHRIST DIED FOR YOU IS NOT ENOUGH. YOU MUST PERSONALLY REPENT OF YOUR SIN AND RECEIVE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOUR AND LORD. |
| 4. Receive: The last thing you Must do in order to go to Heaven when you die is to Receive God's FREE Gift: The bible says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him [Jesus], to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." |

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2) |
| Please PRAY this PRAYER with a sincere heart and be saved today: Dear God, I know that I,m a sinner and that I've lived my life my own way. I admit that I've been wrong and I am sorry God. I believe that Jesus died for MY SINS, so that I could be forgiven, and I ask for your GIFT of salvation through Him. I repent of going my way Lord, and choose TODAY to live for Jesus for the rest of my life, because He died for me. Come into my heart Lord JESUS, I receive you today as my only HOPE of Heaven.
