Faith
Pat Tillman was a man of great faith. He had always been criticized for being too small or too slow, but he overcame his criticisms and made a name for himself in the NFL. He always went the extra mile as shown in the triathalon he ran in preparation for training camp. After the events of September 11, Pat decided that fame and fortune weren't enough to make him happy, so he quit the NFL and joined the army in order to serve his country and keep us safe at home. He gave his life during the war, but his courage and his selflessness will always remind us what it truly means to be an American.
