2009 SEASON ENDING TOURNAMENT NOTES
This year's tourney will open up on Friday night(February 20th) with 3 games from the Winner's Bracket.  The first game will begin at 5:30pm.  On Saturday (February 21st) we will have a full 6 games beginning at 10:00am and running on the hour with the final game set to tipoff at 3:30pm.  Two teams will be eliminated on Saturday leaving 4 teams in the tourney. That will leave Championship Sunday on February 22nd with two games to be played to determine 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places.

This year's tournament will have a MAJOR CHANGE!!  On Sunday, we will have a 3rd place game followed by the championship game.  Whoever wins the second game is the league champion regardless of any prior losses.  This is NOT a double elimination game!

Immediately following the championship game we will have an awards presentation for all four teams as well as a few other awards.

All times and dates are subject to a last minute change!! You need to check with your coach on exactly when the next time is that your team will play.

Keep in mind, this is what the teams work for all year long!  All the equal playing time rules are out the window.  Coaches may play who they want, when they want.
How is the seeding figured for the tournament?

Upon conclusion of the regular season, the  regular season won-lost record of the teams will determine tournament seeding.  The team with the best record will be the #1 seed.  The team with the second best record will be the #2 seed, and so on until we reach the team with the worse record.  They will be the #6 seed.
How is the tournament seeding figured when two or more teams have the same won-lost record at the conclusion of the regular season?

In the event two or more teams are tied with the same won-lost record at the end of the season the tie will be broken by the following rules.  The rules are followed in order.  Once a rule applies to the teams, the tie is broken and no further rule will be applied.  The  league commissioners will resolve any and all disputes regarding tournament seeding.
