Volunteer Opportunities
Rescue organizations, such as PBGV Lifeline, run solely on the spare time and efforts of our dedicated volunteers, without whose help we would not be able to assist PBGVs in need.  A well-run rescue organization is not really very different from a business, so you can imagine all the tasks to be performed and the facets that need representation.

As a Lifeline Volunteer, you will be helping to fill a very special need in our organization.  We count on you to do the many things that need to be done to make sure that all displaced PBGVs have the best opportunity possible to be restored to a loving, happy home.  There are many jobs to be done that foster homes and adoption facilitators don't always have the time to do, so there is always an opportunity to help and a need to be filled beyond providing foster care.
Some Ways You Can Help:

**  Help with phone work.
**  Getting donations of collars, leashes, crates, beds, bowls and other necessities
**  Finding donated or low-cost veterinary care
**  Grooming
**  Transportation of PBGVs from place to place
**  Checking local shelters and pounds for dogs who need our help
**  Checking online shelter listings for PBGVs who may not be properly identified by the shelters
**  Sending or taking PBGV Lifeline flyers to shelters

**
Artists can donate their work for raffles or sale

Are you available to organize or help with:

**  Raffles/auctions, either finding donations or selling tickets
**  Bake sales
**  Requesting donations from other organizations
**  Helping to obtain grants that might be available
**  Participating as a booth worker at pet fairs, dog shows, or other events

We're always very appreciative of anything you can do to help, and we welcome your ideas and suggestions.  Just
email us with your ideas!

If you just can't do any of the above, or if you're extremely limited on time, please consider donating an item or two on our wish list that can be put to good use for the dogs.
