Who We Are

The PBGV Lifeline Rescue Network is made up of private individuals who are concerned about PBGV welfare and over-population and have generously agreed to donate their time, their homes, and even their own money to help displaced, abused, abandoned or unwanted PBGVs to find new homes.  Some PBGV Lifeline volunteers are members of the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen Club of America, while others have no particular club affiliation but share a deep and abiding love for this wonderful breed.
What We Do

Any time a PBGV finds himself in need of a new home, the PBGV Lifeline volunteers are standing by to assist.  We rescue PBGVs from any and all "unwanted" or abusive situations.  At times, some of these dogs may be only hours from death, sitting alone and frightened in shelters.  We do our best to keep that from happening.

Sometimes a rescued PBGV may be too weak, too ill, or too traumatized to be placed into a new home right away.  The PBGV LIfeline maintains a network of loving, foster homes where these dogs can be nursed back to health and made physically and emotionally ready to be placed into permanent, loving homes.

Property and Assets

The PBGV Lifeline Rescue Network owns no property or liquid assets.  Our greatest wealth is the boundless love and untiring devotion our volunteers have for the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen.  PBGV Lifeline is not funded by any club, business, or organization.  All funding comes from private donations and, more often than not, rescue expenses come directly from the pockets of our dedicated volunteers.  All monetary donations are used to care for dogs already in rescue or are reinvested in saving and adopting more Petits. PBGV Lifeine is a non-profit group, IRS 501(c)3 pending
