As a young adult, Dru trained and exhibited saddle seat Morgans in Maine when not training with Olympic Dressage rider Michael Poulin at his facility in Wiscasset, ME.
Dru then took a brief hiatus from riding in order to complete her college education. Upon graduating with a degree in Business Management and Accounting in 1985, Dru was quickly offered an accounting management position in Key West, FL working for Jimmy Buffet.
Dru later left this enviable job in order to relocate to West Palm Beach, where she could resume a full time career in the horse industry.
Having the opportunity to train with several top circuit jumper trainers and riders, Dru developed a passion for show jumping, which became the focus of her expertise-- in addition to the extensive saddleseat, hunter, and dressage backgrounds her experience boasts.
Today Dru and her husband, Brad, together run Aesop's Stables, a semi-private training facility in the heart of America's horse country; Wellington, FL.
