The Automag is an exceptional gun. Many people say it cant compare to a
cocker, well...there wrong. The 68AutoMag/MiniMag is a very reliable, fast,
upgradable 'gun. The only main downsides are freezing and winter play: Using
Co2 in the winter can freeze your 'gun. I personally recommend Nitrogen or a ]
HPA system because of the mags tendency to freeze.
No matter how much cocker owners brag about speed and performance on there
'guns, it is not that far from a mag. The new Reflex Kit can allow a cocker
to shoot 15 balls per second supposedly, but can it do 26 like a RT? No.
The Mag is an amazing 'gun when it comes to speed. It could use a little
work on accuracy, but if you can shoot more....you are more likely to hit
your target (mind you I disapprove of spray and pray, but if you stop after
1 or 2 breaks, I see nothing wrong with it).
The 'gun has very good range, but it has a tendency to have walk back, or
velocity drop. This is a semi-fixable problem: 1) You can shoot Slower, and
2) you can get the reac tor valve (not to be confused with the RT valve
coming out in '99), which also helps prevent freezin. I also highly recomed
a Nitrogen system. It will help greatly.
