news charlie james matt lyrics chart_positions gallery diary_dates gossip media fansarea games guestbook contact_us links site Tears rained down my face as I turned out of Melville Street; bag slung clumsily over one shoulder, shoes dangling lifelessly from my free hand. I trudged down Stanford Road and suddenly felt my stomach churn, something was wrong.
I was going to Jamess the short way. I looked down the long road and smiled to myself, none of Charlies gang would be there, it was a peaceful Sunday morning, they would all be in church or in their beds, fast asleep.
I felt a hand tight on my shoulder and spin me round, I let out a startled scream just before a hand slipped over my mouth and my eyes were met with a dark pair of shades, Hey there sexy. Kian greeted with a sinister smile, Weve been waiting for you.
I tried to bite his hand but he was holding it so tightly in front of my face I could barely move.
If you promise not to scream Ill remove my hand.
I nodded silently and waited for him to keep his side of the bargain.
Im gonna free that gorgeous mouth of yours but Im not letting go of this bodyyoure coming with me babe and hopefully James will come to us instead of us chasing him around like his fuckin groupies!
Where are you going to take me? Wheres Charlie? What are you gonna do to James?
Calm down darling, all will be revealedin good time.
Kian let go of me now, this is pathetic.
I rolled my eyes and struggled out of his grasp, Do you always do everything Charlie tells you?
Here, put this on. Kian changed the subject by handing me a long thin piece of black material.
You honestly think Im gonna blind-fold myself? I mumbled sarcastically. Kian shook his head, Youre rightcome here. He grabbed me firmly and tugged me towards him, tying the piece of itchy material around my head to cover my eyes, Right, how many fingers am I holding up?
I sniggered, Four?
Are you sure you cant see?
I blurted out a small laugh, Kian I grew up with you remember? You always show four fingers.
I could practically see him blushing, Anyway, I believe you cant see anything. I'm gonna take you now to a secret lair so we can wait for lover boy to catch up.
Geniusone thing, how will he find us?
Kian was silent for a few seconds, Ill jot him a note or something, possible an email later butStef shut up, youre supposed to be scared! he winged, I could hear him stamping his feet angrily.
Okay ok, oooooooooh noooooo help me help meis that better?
Stop that, its infuriating!
Help me help mesomebody, anybody! I shrieked playfully.
STEF! Kian bellowed above my strangled mock-wails.
Sorry, okay Im done now. I sniffed away the tears of laughter from my face and tried my hardest to mentally follow where Kian was taking me. It proved too hard after half an hour so I stopped wailing.
What now? Kian demanded and yanked my arm in his direction.
My nose is aching from this piece of cheap material.
Well were almost here anyway so just manage for a few more minutescant believe Colm and Bry got the cool jobs and I had to bring you hereI wanted to bring the rope and knife but noooooo I had to be the one who
What did you just say? I demanded and suddenly realised that I could, in effect, pull my blindfold off myself.
Never mind just keep walkinghey, Stef you cant take the blindfoldshit, put it on!
I rolled the material up in my hands and threw it in to the river. The river? There was no river anywhere near where I lived, Where are we Kian?
I groaned loudly as Kian tied the rope tighter and tighter around my waist.
Stef stop moving, youre making this even worse for yourself!
Kian! Let go of me, surely Charlie doesnt approve of you tying me to a tree! I protested as Kians strong arms held me down.
Stef would ya just shut up! the familiar voice of my brother rang through the trees surrounding us.
Charlie! I gasped as he weaved his way between the trees and in front of me. He smiled at me. Not a proper smile, a sly evil smile that played at the corners of his lips.
Charlie man, tell her to stop wriggling around so much, shes driving me mad! Charlie rolled his eyes but didnt utter a word to me, Bry has just called my mobile, hes ten minutes away. He mumbled to Kian who had now finished tying me up.
Kian nodded and handed Colm the remainder of the rope, Cheers for that man. No probs, I gave Bryan the note to leave round at Jamess, my guess is that good ol JB shall be reading it at any time Colm grinned down at me, Youre gonna love this Stef, just wait till he gets here!
W-what have you got planned? I asked, trying to hide the dread that had been creeping through my body since the blindfold had been lifted.
Now that would ruin the surprise wouldnt it? Colm laughed and turned back to Charlie who was looking blankly up at the grey sky, Charlie, you okay man?
Charlie jumped at the mention of his name and nodded his reply to Colm, You think its gonna rain?
I hope not, these are my new jeans. Kian mumbled from next to me.
Oh for the love of god! I cried and threw my head back to laugh, forgetting about the tree behind me which my head slammed in to with so much force I almost knocked myself out.
Charlie sniggered but remained wordless as Bryan ran towards us, panting as he jogged up the steep hill, CharlieJamesMattcomingquick Bryan collapsed by my feet and held his stomach, trying in vain to catch his breath.
What? Charlie asked, glaring at Bryan, Damn it Bry you are so unfit!
Hey I work out! Bryan protested as Kian and Colm dragged him to his feet.
Oh yeah likely. I mumbled under my breath.
I heard that! Bryan cried angrily.
Oi!
We all turned to see Matt standing at the top of the hill behind him a very pale-faced James stood in complete silence, something was wrong. Charlie groaned loudly, Matt what are you doing here?
I went round to Jamess to tell him something that I thought was rather important and he was on the way out the front door. He seemed upset so I asked him
Hey cut the shit Matt, get to the point! Charlie growled impatiently.
Dont use that tone of voice with me! Matt scolded.
Sorry just tell me why you are here.
James told me that Stef had left a note saying to meet him up at dead-mans-point and I kinda reckoned that the note you had planted not-so-discreetly on his door step may have been a plan for him to come up here only to find that Stef hadnt planned on meeting him up here at all but you guys were actually! Yeah yeah very clever Matt, you found us out well hes here now anyway so thanks. You can go now. Kian dismissed him, cutting him off mid-sentence. I looked at James, his head was hung low in defeat and his eyes were shut tightly. He was praying.
Listen I dont know what you are planning to do to Stef but just let her go, its me you have a thing against anyway. James murmured, looking up for the first time since he had arrived.
That was the plan genius. Bryan quipped from next to me, We would never hurt a girl. He patted me on the head and I kicked him powerfully in the shin.
You feisty little bitch! Bryan cried as he toppled backwards and in to a tall oak tree.
Charlie sighed and took the knife from Bryans coat pocket. James gasped but remained silent as Charlie made his way towards me. Our matching eyes met and the spark that used to fly between us glistened slightly in the reflection of his tears.
Charlie brought the knife down to my chest and with one smooth cut my ropes had dropped to the floor. I looked down to check that I really was free before gazing back up to Charlie again, Please dont hurt him. I whispered mournfully as Kian dragged me away from him.
Colm and Bryan pulled James towards Charlie and shoved him roughly in to the tree where I had been standing. Colm handed Charlie the left over rope from tying me up and stood back to watch as Charlie slowly tied James to the tree. James showed no sign of resistance and silently allowed Charlie to pull the knots tighter and tighter until Jamess breathing came out in short sharp bursts.
There was a stunned silence as Charlie backed away from James to admire his handy-work. I watched Charlies hands shaking as he played with the knife.

Jamess head lifted slightly so that it was in line with Charlies, Now what? he asked, breaking the silence.
Now we leave. Charlie answered coldly.
What? Matt demanded from behind him.
I said, now we leave. Charlie repeated. No tone rung in his voice as his face stared blankly at his best friend.
But he will die, no one will find him for days! Matt argued and moved towards James only to be held back by Bryan and Kian, both a lot bigger and stronger than him.
Thats the point. Charlie looked towards me and shook his head sadly, Kian, allow her to stay with him, she won't be able to undo those knots even if she tried. She can watch him die all I care she is no longer my sister.
His words cut through me like a knife through my heart or a bullet to my brain.
My eyes blurred up and I ran to Jamess side, kissing his softly on his cold, trembling lips, I hate you Charlie and I will never every forgive you for this!
Charlie shrugged and followed his gang towards Matt, who they were dragging down the hill.
Shes pregnant! Matts voice rang through the woods, shattering the momentary silence. Tears streamed down Jamess face, he knew. Matt had told him, that was why he had put up no fight.
Charlie looked up at me, tears building up in his own brown eyes, Is he telling the truth? he croaked, the first thing he had properly said to me in days.
I nodded and tugged desperately on the ropes that surrounded my babys father. Charlie walked slowly towards us and looked straight in to Jamess sparkling blue eyes, Is it yours?
James nodded, too choked up to answer.
Charlie looked from him to me then back to James again before moving back ever so slightly and running forward, ramming his foot straight in to Jamess groin. James cried out loudly as Charlies foot repeatedly hit him, over and over, How could you?! Charlie roared, tears pouring through his lashes As he punched, hit and kicked James who was almost unconscious from the pain. I screamed loudly for him to stop but he would listen, I grabbed his fist as it approached Jamess jaw.
Charlie glared at me and shoved me towards Kian who was watching silently whilst Bryan and Colm held Matt down.
Charlie stop this please! I cried hysterically as Charlie picked up the knife from Jamess feet.
Charlie looked at me and gripped the knife tighter, You may wish to look away sis. He whispered and turned back to James. NOOOOOOOOO! I shrieked loudly and looked at Kian for help. Kian had tears streaming down his cheeks and when our eyes met he nodded and let me go. The next few seconds seemed to run by in slow motion. Charlies fist was lifted high above his head as I ran towards James. I stood in front of him, eyes fixed on Charlies as my twin brothers fist jammed down in to my chest, knife and all.
I let out a low groan as my body slid down Jamess and on to the floor. Charlie, James and Matt cried out as my head hit the floor and then suddenly the world seemed to go back to normal speed as Charlie knelt down.
Oh god Stef, I am so sorry. He whispered and lay down on the wet ground next to me so that our eyes were even.
I...Iwhy..? I managed to gasp, feeling my throat filling up with blood. Kian had freed James who was now curled up next to us.
I am sorry for everything Stef I really am, I was scared I was so so scared of losing you that I took it out on James and I hate him for taking you away from me and I hate him for being the one you chose to side with and I hateI hate tears rolled over his nose and dripped down on to the grass in front of him, I hate myself for not sticking with you, I hate myself for not caring enough about you to let you be happy but most of allI hate myself for doing all of this.
I love you I breathed, trying not to choke on the build up of liquid in my throat.
I felt a hand wash over my face and Charlie looked up, Im sorry James, I am so sorry man.
James rolled me carefully on to my back and rested my head in his lap; I looked up in to his ocean blue eyes, the pain slowly draining away.
I love you Stef. He choked and kissed his index finger. I felt his finger smooth over my lips and I watched as it moved away from my face, covered in blood.
Iloveyoutoo I sobbed between heavy breaths and turned my head ever so slightly to look at Charlie, Be friendsagainplease. I begged and felt the breath catch in my throat as I spoke.
Charlie nodded and looked up at James who was shaking his head miserably, tears dripping from his baby blue eyes, through his clumped up lashes and down his cheeks only to fall from his chin on to my forehead.
PleaseJJJames I could now the warm metallic liquid in my mouth, my world was paling out and I could barely see James.
No! He killed you Stef, he killed the only person I will ever love and he killed our baby, Stef I will never everStef..? Jamess voice broke as he rolled my head off his lap and leaned over me, Stef can you hear me?
I closed my heavy lids and tried to nod, but couldnt, Il-loveyou
A loud sob escaped Charlies mouth and he lay down next to me again.
B-bothofyou I finished hoarsely and felt the familiar hand of my twin brother stroking my hair.
Dont worry sis, we will make up I swear to you. We will be friends again wont we James? Charlie sniffed and I felt his lips meet my cheek.
Yes. Yes we will. Jamess shaky voice filled my ears and with his promising words I allowed my body to drift towards the warm light, which promised me and the small child I was holding in my arms, all the love and comfort we could ever need.
