Lisa looked up from her hospital bed as a young looking man was wheeled into the bed next to her on a wheel chair by his friends. Lisa smiled and introduced herself �Hello I�m Lisa� she said trying to sound cheerful but was stopped by a pain in her stomach and held her stomach tight to try and stop the pain.
�Are you alright?� asked one of the lads running over to help her. �erm yea, I fell a few weeks ago and I keep getting these pains, the doctors think I have bruised a rib!� answered Lisa smiling at the helpful stranger. �Well I�m afraid you�ll be stuck with our mate Mattie for the next few weeks! He got into a fight�..typical!� laughed the kind stranger. �Well by the way I�m Lisa� she said holding out her hand for the person to shake. �I�m Charlie and these are my mates Mattie and James� indicated Charlie to the other two boys. Lisa couldn�t stop thinking about how kind Charlie was being and plus he was gorgeous! �Well we�d better be going� said James to Mattie and Charlie, Lisa thought she saw Charlie looking disapointed but she just shook her head. �Well hope to see you around!� hinted Lisa to break the silence and at that she saw Charlie smile broadly. The Next Day�� Lisa and Mattie had practically become best mates over night, they spent hours on end talking to each other and got told to be quiet all the time so that other patients could sleep! �My friends are coming round today� said Lisa to Mattie who was scoffing down his second round of breakfast. �Mwine twoo� sputtered Mattie whilst eating �Oh there they are, speak of the Devil� laughed Lisa pointing to two girls crossing the corridor and who were waving madly at Lisa. �Hiya, you came early� said Lisa hugging her friends. �Mattie- this is Jenni and Katie� Lisa said twizzling her friends around to face Mattie. �well you probably want a bit of privacy, and I need a shower� said Mattie winking at Lisa. Lisa shook her head but Jenni was gobsmacked, she thought Mattie was gorgeous! �Omg he is so nice looking and sound too!� said Jenni staring at Lisa. �Well I haven�t lost any time, Mattie�s mates came with him yesterday and I got chatting to one of them called Charlie, he is so nice I keep thinking of him� said Lisa quietly. �Oh My gosh you really don�t loose any time!� laughed Katie �Anyway my news is that I finally dumped Ke, he never ever talks to me so I just got fed up!� said Katie happily. �Well���..� said Lisa but she was interrupted by a familiar face poking round the curtain end. �Alright mateage?, wheres Mattie-boy?� grinned Charlie at the girls �He went for a shower, wheres James?� asked Lisa �I�m here!� sang James loudly and getting told off by the Nurse next door walked into Lisa and Mattie�s cubicle. �Oh so we have other company!� said James grinning and knudging Charlie who gave James a dirty look. Jenni and Katie never knew a trip to a hospital would be so much fun. Katie knew why Lisa liked Charlie so much but she preferred James. The boys walked in and Charlie grabbed a chair and sat it next to Lisa. Lisa was grinning from ear to ear by this point and it was so obvious she liked Charlie that the girls burst out laughing. �What?� asked Lisa alarmed. �Nothing�nothing�!� but the girls carried on laughing and Lisa gave them a dirty look. Suddenly Mattie walked in, in nothing but his boxers. �erm Nice!� laughed Charlie �Oh No� said Mattie quickly grabbing a top. �Oh yes� whispered Jenni to Lisa and Charlie happened to hear. �OOOhhhhhhhhhh I think someone over here likes you!� said Charlie teasing Jenni. Matt was enjoying this so he took Jenni to get a drink with him leaving James to take Katie to get a snack from the caf�. This left Charlie and Lisa by themselves along with an uncomfortable silence. �So Mattie treating you right?� asked Charlie grinning �Yep, we keep getting told off for talking to much!� laughed Lisa remembering the old Nurse who kept getting in a strop with her. �I just wish I could go home, you never get any privacy, a Nurse or Doctor has to go everywhere with you!� stressed Lisa. �I wouldn�t mind going everywhere with you!� said Charlie softly and Lisa began to blush and smiling. Suddenly Charlie took her hand and stroked his thumb against her skin. �I really like you Charlie but I didn�t think you liked me, in that way��.� Said Lisa looking into his deep brown eyes. �I was just waiting for the right time� answered Charlie softly. And at that moment Charlie leant in and kissed her softly and passionately. � Maybe you guys should come and stay with us when you come out?� asked Charlie hopefully but they were interrupted by a Nurse asking �Lisa Stafford?� �Yes?� replied Lisa �We are allowing you to go home but you must not do the wrong type of exercise etc, and as long as you stick to these rules your rib should be fine in a few weeks� said the Nurse handing over a note. �Oh My gosh, I finally get to go!, is Mattie going?� she asked the Nurse �Yes Matthew-Jay Ellis is leaving today as well� Lisa climbed out of bed and gave an ecstatic whoop and hugged Charlie. �So are we still alright for staying at yours for a while because our flat is up for sale anway?� asked Lisa �Sure!� answered Charlie. Charlie grabbed Matties and Lisa�s stuff and they went to find the boys and they managed to all squeeze into Charlie�s porsche. When they arrived at the lads house after picking up the other girls stuff they all went and sat in the living room. �I see Lisa and Charlie have hit it off!� whispered Katie to James who laughed back. Charlie said aloud �I�m shattered I�m going to have an early night!�. �Oh I bet you are!� laughed Mattie cheekily. The next morning� Lisa woke up to find herself alone in room she didn�t recognise. �where am I?� she whispered �Oh yea, I�m at Charlie�s� she grinned happily and picked up one of his Tops and put it on along with her pants. She walked down the stairs and into the kitchen to see Charlie putting Bacon, Sausages and some eggs onto two plates. �Aww thanks mate, you didn�t have to!� said Mattie walking into the kitchen and grinning. �Oi, hands off, its for me and Lisa!� answered Charlie. �Yes Mattie Go Away!� Lisa said sarcastically. �Oh My God you scared me half to death� said Charlie spinning to face Lisa. �I�ve made us breakfast, I will bring it to you in a minute� he said �Well that�s what you get for having a boyfriend who went to a posh school� said Mattie leading Lisa nto the dining room. �aw don�t be tight but now he can do all the jobs for me, and by the way where are Katie and Jenni?� asked Lisa. �Still in bed I suppose� answered Mattie sarcastically. And then Charlie walked in with two plates and put them on the table. �MATTIE I HOPE THAT�S MY BREAKFAST I CAN SMELL!� shouted Jenni whilst walking slowly down the stairs. �Mate is there any left?� Mattie asked Charlie. �Sure take it� Charlie answered grinning and Mattie came running back with two plates of breakfast and put them on the table next to a hysterical Lisa and Charlie and then he took a seat and smiled as if nothing had happened. When Jenni came down she said �Aww thanks Mattie but I was only joking!� �I thought we could go out for brekkie, my treat but since you have put all this effort in we may aswell have this!� she said hugging the back of his head. Lisa was nearly crying because she was laughing so much at Mattie�s face, it was a picture! �We�d better go and get dressed and then we will discuss where we should go?� asked Charlie �Sure� replied Lisa grabbing Charie�s hand and smiling up at him. Lisa opened her suitcase and pulled out a pair of jeans and a vintage t-shirt. Charlie managed to find a top and pants underneath all the junk in his room. �Oh No I�ve got to do my hair� Charlie moaned. �Here let me help� answered Lisa grabbing some gel she had in her case and putting it into her hand then styling Charlie�s hair. �Thanks, we�d better be going� said Charlie grabbing Lisa and kissing her. �Wait I need to do my hair and make up!� laughed Lisa 10 Minutes Later� �Well that�s as good as its gonna get� said Lisa to the onlooking Charlie and grabbing her hand bag and stuffing some things in. �Where are we going though?� she asked. �We are going into town then clubbing� That Night at the Club� Charlie led Lisa to the dance floor where Lisa draped her arms around Charlie�s neck and Charlie leant in to kiss her. After Hours of Dancing� �Fancy getting a drink?� asked Charlie tiredly �Yer I�m tired!� she laughed. Charlie led Lisa to a table then he went to the bar and ordered some drinks. A crowd of Girls came around him and when he ignored them they thought he couldn�t hear them so they followed him back to the table where Lisa was sat and Lisa couldn�t resist this classic moment so she leant in and kissed him! Charlie fumbled in his pocket and Lisa whispered �Oh God!� as Charlie picked a box out of his pocket and said �Lisa Stafford Will You Marry Me?� he asked softly. �OF COURSE!!� she whooped and then whispered �I have some news too!, I�m pregnant!� she said excitedly. �You are joking right?� laughed Charlie and at that note in his voice Lisa ran to the toilets and locked herself in leaving Katie and Jenni to follow. |
