A week after the newspaper incident, Morgan woke up to the sound of her mobile phone beeping at her to let her know she had a text message. She looked over at her alarm clock and saw the time was only 6.04am and was confused who in their right mind would send her a message at such a ridiculous time on a Saturday morning.
She reached over to pick up her phone and pressed �read� on it to see �Matt Mobile� come up on the screen. Morgan opened the message and smiled as she read �Hey sexy, looking forward to coming home and seeing you, only a few more hours to go. Love ya loads Matt xXx� Morgan pressed reply on her phone and sent �Hey you, go away it�s too early in the morning for text messages thanks :-) but looking forward to seeing you too. Morgan xxx� back to Matt and made sure her phone was on silent as she rolled over in bed and went back to sleep. 4 hours later Morgan was woken up by a loud crash and her housemates Anna and Erin laughing hysterically on the landing outside Morgan�s bedroom. Morgan scrambled out of bed and opened her door to find Anna in a heap on the floor laughing her head off. �What happened?� asked Morgan. �I....I....�laughed Anna as she attempted to speak through laughing. �She fell over the laundry basket she was carrying and fell head first over it, God knows how she did it though� laughed Erin. The 3 girls laughed at Anna as she attempted to get off the floor. The girls then made their way down the stairs and into the living room. �What you up today Morgan?� asked Erin. �I said I would go meet Andy this afternoon cos I haven�t seen him for ages and Matt is due back from Germany today at some point so I�ll be seeing him I guess, what you up to?� �I plan to do nothing at all today, I really can�t remember the last time I just vegged out. I need to go on the net and book some train tickets home to Newcastle too at some point so I�ll probably do that as well today. Have you and Matt sorted out the newspaper stuff?� �Yeah and no really. I believe him when he says it�s not true and it never happened but he said we could talk about it when he got back cos it�s not exactly the easiest thing to talk about when you�re not in the same country really.� explained Morgan �Ahh I�m sure you�ll get it sorted out, I don�t think he�ll be wanting to talk to me for a while though after what I said to him� Erin said half laughing. �Don�t be silly of course he will, he�ll know you were just looking out for me, Matt won�t have taken offence to it, honestly.� replied Morgan. �Cool�. Morgan went back upstairs and got ready to go out and meet her friend Andy and catch up on his life and news. Later that day there was a knock on the house Morgan lived in and Erin answered the door, �Hi, is it safe to come in? You�re not going to batter me to death or something are you?� asked Matt who was stood at the door. � Yes it is safe and no I�m not going to batter you to death....� laughed Erin as she pushed the door back to let Matt in the house �....Sorry about that on the phone the other week Matt, you know how it is, I was upset for Morgan and being protective.� �Don�t worry about it hun, I know you were being protective, I would do the same. It honestly didn�t happen though, I swear on my sisters life I never cheated on Morgan, I might be a shit but Morgan means more to me than people realise....where is she anyway?� asked Matt As the two of them walked into the living room, Erin climbed onto one of the chairs, Matt sat on the sofa. �She went out about dinnertime to meet Andy she sent me a text about half an hour ago saying she would be about 20 minutes, you know what she�s like, what time does she think you�re coming back?� �In a couple of hours I think. We got an earlier flight back than planned and I was eager to see her� At this point Anna comes rushing through the front door, �Eurgh what horrible weather!!!, it�s pissing it down outside....� moaned Anna looking over at the sofa �.....oh hi Matt, didn�t see you there, you ok?� �Yeah I�m good thanks hun, how are you? �I�m better now I�m out of the rain......ooo Erin I�ve had that film developed that I found in my bedroom today, god knows what was on it though� said Anna as she returned back into the living room from the kitchen handing the photos to Erin. �Oh my god.......� squealed Erin as she started to look at the photos �.....they are so old, they�re from about a year ago when we were up in Sheffield for the weekend....oh my god, how pissed are we on these....what the hell is Morgan doing with Robin there...� laughed Erin as she looked through them. Matt and Anna huddled around Erin looking at the photos when Erin picked up the next photo when everyone just stood there in silence, the picture was of Morgan kissing her boyfriend of the time - Adam a fellow Canadian who was an ice hockey player who split up with 9 months ago. �Erm......yeah right, erm...yeah� said Erin trying to make the focus away from the photo. �Like you said Erin these photos are from so long ago, I mean Morgan and Adam were so wrong for each, they split up about a month after these photos didn�t they� said Anna trying to help her friend out and gave Matt a light hug as she said it. �Guys don�t worry about it, me and Morgan have been together for a while now and I kinda know about Adam, everyone has a past and ex�s I know I do so yeah it was a shock to see it but it�s not a problem� reassured the girls. �Thank god for that� sighed Erin and the three of them laughed. �Who wants a drink?� asked Anna �Yeah I�ll have one, I�ll have a bottle of Budweiser please hun� said Erin �I�ll have one too if that�s ok please Anna� added Matt �Sure thing guys� answered Anna as she walked into the kitchen. 10 minutes later Morgan came through the door talking on her mobile phone and laughing away �...yeah that shouldn�t be a problem, I�m sure I can look after the poop making machine for a few hours for you....Next week is fine, just let me know and I�ll come round to yours and pick Joseph up and look after him.....� Morgan looked in the living room cos she�d heard a male voice chatting away with Anna and Erin and her big smile with a shocked / surprised look on her face realising that the guy was her boyfriend. �.....cool hun not a problem....yeah you�d better go Karen I can hear Joseph screaming away.....bye� finished Morgan as she rushed into the living room. �Oh my god what are you doing hear so early?� asked Morgan as she walked to Matt who had got up off the sofa when Morgan came through the door and as they hugged and kissed. �We got an earlier flight home and I couldn�t wait to see you so I thought I�d come straight round� �Excellent, you should have said I�d have come back sooner� �It�s ok I wanted to surprise you� Morgan smiled as Matt wrapped his arms round her and pulled her close and kissed her making up for the time when he hadn�t been there. �I�ve missed you� said Matt quietly. �Mmmm I�ve missed you too� smiled Morgan |
