A few hours had passed; the house was filled with silence. James drowned his sorrows in his bedroom with his Justin Timberlake album turned on at full blast. Meanwhile, Charlie and Tara were huddled together on the sofa, Charlie gently stroking her stomach.
�I really can�t wait for this baby to be born you know Tara� breathed Charlie deeply, as he gently nuzzled her neck. Tara pulled away, and faked a sleepy yawn. �I�m so tired� she stretched �Do you mind if I leave, I need to get some sleep� Charlie smiled slightly and shook his head �course not.� Tara gave him a soothing hug before walking upstairs, past hers and Charlie�s room; straight into Matt�s. �That�s it!� screamed a frustrated James, he hated being in a place with the people he hated most right that minute �I need to get out of here!� He quickly got off his bed and pulled on a clean T-shirt before grabbing his badminton racket and running down the stairs. A half-awake Charlie saw the blur of James quickly brush past in the hallway; he suddenly felt guilty about earlier on and decided to make it up with him. He slowly got up from the sofa he had sunken into and picked up another badminton racket which was leant against the wall and made his way to the front door. �TARA IM JUST GOING OUT FOR A FEW HOURS, SHOUDLNT BE TOO LONG!� called Charlie �Mmmm yer�.ok�.cya� came the muffled voice of Tara Charlie turned back round and followed his upset friend �Urm, where do you think you are going?� asked an angry James, his eyebrows almost joined in the middle from all the frustration going on his in head. Charlie sighed and looked down, running a hand over his free arm, a sign he was deeply sorry �Look mate�I shouldn�t have snapped earlier�it�s just��� �Just what Charlie?� interrupted James �Look, I�m going to get away from all the mess going on in here I don�t want it tagging along behind me, meaning YOU should stay here. That�s if you want to stay in one piece today!� Charlie�s eyes widened, he had never seen this side of James before, he must have been REALLY mad. �I�m losing my temper quickly Simpson, you tagging behind is just going to make things worse!� his tone was blunt and cold, he spat out the words without a single emotion coming from his heart. �Woah!� said Charlie, backing away �Look I�m sorry, I can see you�re upset at the moment, and that I�m not wanted. You need to clear your head, we�ll talk after.� James scowled at him before slamming the door shut in his face and racing off towards the badminton courts down the road. �Well that went well� muttered Charlie, rubbing his eyes slightly �my life is seriously going down hill�the only thing keeping me going is Tara and the�� �OH MATT!!!!!!!� came a loud moan from upstairs; Charlie came out of his thoughts and fixed his gaze towards the top of the stairs. |
