As Emma lay on the sofa her arms stretched above her head, Charlie leaned over her and turned the stereo down so that the music hummed quietly in the back ground. He then shuffled back on top of her, his gaze fixed on Emma�s innocent face.
�Charlie I have something to tell you� mumbled Emma �What is it?� he gently spoke, sitting on top of her, taking in the beauty below him. Emma took in a deep breath; her watery eyes glinted in the dimmed light. It was then that she let out all her emotions �I love you�� �Em��..�Spoke Charlie �Let me finish before I change my mind� interrupted Emma, her heart beating fast �I love you� she took in another deep breath �I always have from the moment I set eyes on you in that club, but it�s Tanya you wanted, it�s Tanya your with, it�s Tanya your about to start a family with. so I had to bottle all my feelings up inside of me� �Until now� spoke Charlie, surprised by what he was hearing �Yes� she whispered �only because you feel the same� she searched his face, waiting for an answer Charlie swallowed nervously �I had no idea; I love Tanya I really do��.� Emma felt so sorry for him; she knew that Tanya didn�t feel the same but she just couldn�t ruin this �perfect� moment. �Sshhhh� she whispered, pressing a finger against his lips. Charlie obeyed her like a puppy on a leash and gently leaned down, running his tense hands up her neck and face, through to her smooth hair. �Emma� he moaned, brushing his lips against hers �I didn�t mean to shout at you, I was just so upset I��..� his voice turned dry and cracked �None of that matter�s now� smiled Emma. As Charlie became more and more passionate Emma tightly wrapped her arms around his sweaty back for support as her gasps became shorter, kissing his neck as they carried on throughout the night. If this was meant to be a mad love affair then why didn�t Emma feel guilty, in fact, she felt none of these emotions. Instead she felt comfortable and safe, warm in Charlie�s strong arms, IT felt right. |
