My sister was my friend and had a love for life. We did everything together, we shared a room our whole childhood. I wanted to ride that yellow bus to school but down deep, I just wanted to go with her. When she had Rheumatic Fever and couldnt walk, I wanted to take care of her. As we got older and our lives started to separate, I missed her more than ever, But she was never more than a phone call away. Whenever I needed help, she was there. When she wanted a baby so badly and couldnt get one, I found her one. She was married to Donald and has two sons, Brian and Timothy. She was a Registered Nurse and worked full time. Next to family, the thing dearest to her heart was the BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA. She was never prouder than the day Brian became an Eagle Scout. Most weekends were spent with Cub Scouts or Boy Scouts camping or some other activity. The very night before she died, she was telling me, in our phone conversation, how she completed the physical fitness requirements for swimming and scaling right along with her boys. "Unconventional" was the word used by a B.S.A. representative at her funeral. I smiled because that she was. Planned or spur of the moment, big project or little one was all the same. How you got something done was not as important as doing it. Cheryl did not care what others said or how they did things. Her life was lived moment to moment and I admired her for it. I miss her a lot but I have a feeling she's leading those

As we grew, and time passed by, we had to begin to choose the paths our lives would take. It wasn't easy to know which way to go and what things to do, but I was reassured because of the treasure I held in my heart: By being my sister, you gave me the quiet comfort of knowing I could always turn to you. That's what sisters are all about sweetness and support to see you through. All through our years, you
have been a source of so many smiles and so much inspiration for me. There has never been a time when the miles that came between us have not been bridged by the closeness of our hearts. I want to thank you for giving me the special kind of feelings that only sisters like you and I could comprehend. That's what sisters are all about......
Being the very best of friends......
