Greetings from Paymanti Puja Committee!!!
Overcast skies, irksome drizzles, nasty showers: it has been a depressing few weeks. And, now, with the onset of the autumnal sky, the slight nip in the breeze, spell relief, therapy even: for this is the harbinger of something that kindles desire, the thirst to hear the earthy beat of the dhaak, a reason to escape from the year-long drudgery.

Yes, it�s time for Ma Durga, together with her celebrated offspring�s, to visit her parent�s house. A call she makes every year, bringing with her hope, happiness and laughter for her countless devotees.

Payamanti�s [3.75 acres of land, 28 buildings, 224 households, the most centrally placed among the others in Eastern Kolkata Township constellations of eminent personalities] fascinating journey continues and we are in the 17th years, having references of glorious moments such as accolades from The Times of India�s �Pujo Barir Sera Pujo�, Pratay�s �Sera Protima� and RENE�s �Sera Protima�.

We are indeed very fortunate that support, blessings and guidance of patrons, well-wishers and last but not the least seniors are always with us and we do hope to make this Puja one of the brightest constellations in the spectrum of unity, fun and enjoyment.

We look forward to the support of all the Patrons, Well-wishers and Payamantiyan�s to make this endeavor a success.
