Characteristics of original organism: It would feed near the coast. It would smash it's prey and then swallow it. It's food consists mainly of school fish and crabs. It will let out 300,000,000 eggs in to ocean. Of course, not nearly that many will survive to be adults. Some may be eaten by other fish and some may just die.

Adaptations: The Gail fish became more steam line, larger, and more muscular so they are faster and can eat larger and faster fish. They produce less eggs but they have a better chance of survival and are protected by mother.
