"Tick tick, Scully." ~ Mulder

I love these old mythology episodes, from back when CC had a direction and purpose for it all.

Talk about intense... these episodes are the best at making you wonder how it's all gonna come out.

The thing that I really love about these is that while Mulder and Scully are off in their separate directions trying to learn "the truth", they're also very clearly working together for the common truth.

Continuity was well done too. Bringing Scully's implant back for an explanation helped to keep me tuned into to these.

And at the end, of course, we really don't know anything more than we did in the beginning. All of the evidence has conveniently been disposed of.

What did we learn about the mythology? Um... Scully's chip is used to monitor her thoughts, their are women who share her abduction experience and all claim to be dying, and the same doctors that conducted the experiments on her and the other women have also conducted experiments on lepers and autopsies on aliens.

The Japanese are involved in the conspiracy with the US government.

Mulder can get his ass kicked and handle it very well.
