En Ami - 03/20/2K "Chansons pour les petits enfants, chansons pour tout le monde" ~ a Jimmy Buffett song The above quote has absolutely nothing to do with this episode. I can't make up my mind about this episode. I was so excited about it, in fact, I was the most excited I had been in almost 2 years, since the movie. Through all my excitement, I guess I got my hopes up too far. It wasn't that I was disappointed, but I kind of felt 'high and dry'. The plot had it good points and bad points. Some scenes were better than others. As always, some questions were answered while posing new ones. The CSM's motives were pure, and I genuinely believed he was all about saving humanity, but I guess thats why the put the "lie" in believe (or is it?). Overall, I saw a nice break from the Mulder-centric series and a good look at Scully. Didn't particularly love the ending, but overall, Bill Davis did a fine job. He's still no Vince Gilligan, though. Rating: 4 lounge chairs out of 5 "Do you know how many people have died in there?" ~ Mulder, referring to Scully's apartment, to which I swear he has a key and doesn't need the super to unlock the door for him.
