"God, sometimes you just don't come through..." ~ Tori Amos

OK: I knew from the first time I saw the previews that this episode would be 
awesome. I am a Scullyist, so I would definitely think that any 
Scully-centric episode is awesome, and since this one was written by the 
woman who knows Scully best, of course it would be awesome.

The more I saw the previews, the more I began to be afraid of "all things". I 
wondered if GA would reduce Scully to a horrid shell of a character, throwing 
off all continuity and pride that Scully had to turn her into a ex-hoar from 
the projects of New York. I mainly feared that GA's writing would be horrible 
and the story would be a laughing stock.

Anyway.

I really can't make up my mind, now that I've seen it. It was awesome, but I 
don't think that Scully would speak to God in a Bhuddist temple, or spend 
time with gay women, or anything of that nature. 

Technically, the story was firm and well-written and extremely well directed. 

Anyway.

I just don't if I LIKED it.
