Yes I AM royally pissed off, but I'm a woman.

I didn't think it could get any worse after "Alone," but look! CC has proved me wrong again! It really could get worse... and it still can... did you see those previews for next week? I think I'll just stab myself through the temple now and get it over with.

It was more the little things of this one that made it unbearable.  First of all, what the hell was the deal with that teaser? It screamed CC's incoherant brand of big sciency words told only the way DD could do it... and he does it so well! He's had so much practice over the years...

Now, little things... hmm... like Scully being unrecognizably naive, dependent, whinny, bumbling, stupid, etc... and Mulder all of the sudden NEEDING Doggett to investigate these "alien babies." Where has he been all these years and how did Mulder ever get anything done without him? Next thing you know, Doggett will start talking about leaving and Mulder will tell him how he's made him a whole person, that he owes him everything... "and Doggett, you owe me nothing... I don't know if I want to do this alone... I don't know if I can..." and then a near kiss stopped only by a well placed bee... can't wait for that!

Now that I'm back from vomiting my lunch (I vomited my supper last night during the baby shower), since when is 14 weeks 2/3 of a pregnancy? Assuming, of course, that Scully dumped Parenti back in "Per Manum," oh wait, that would require actual thinking and connecting the dots on her part, and that ain't gonna happen, so never mind. What kind of pills is Scully taking? I didn't think pregnant women were supposed to take any medication--especially prescription drugs...

And God help us with this mythology (now that CC has told us that there really IS a God)! Its all over the place! I give up! Do you hear, CC and Spotzy? I give up! You win! You've thoroughly confused me AND pissed me off! Now go away!

Was anyone else screaming at the characters "trust no one" and "why are you trusting Krycek! He killed your dad! He's tried to kill you many, many times! Scully, he killed your sister! What are you doing???"

Or was that just me?

And where did Ma Scully find this Lizzy person?

Whatever happened to the faceless alien rebels? How many different alien races are there, and why are they so concerned with us? Is the baby special as in Emily!Special or Gibson Praise!Special? Why does Doggett remind me more and more of my dad every week? Who were all those people at the baby shower?

I'm sorry this review is all over the place... just like my most recent meal...

<sigh> One more week... one more week...
