I consider myself an ecclectic person. I have a lot of facets therefore I have plenty on interest.
Though I am not the most athletic among cousins I do love playing basketball, volleyball, and tennis. Growing up in the streets of Cubao, one can not help but play basketball. It is the most popular sport in the Philippines. Being too short to play High School Basketball (not that talented either) I turned to Volleyball as a sport. I did well enough to be be on our Intramural team in High School from Freshman year to Senior year. Tennis is a sport that I picked-up when one of my cousin asked me to play with him. Being new to the game, I decided to enroll on a Tennis class for beginners. I quickly took to the sport and the rest is history. Other sports I like to play now and again are chessand swimming.
I love watching movies both in theaters and on video. The types of movies I like varies from action to comedy to drama. As long as the plot line is good and believable, I will watch it.
I like different types of music from R & B to Rap to oldies.
As a young boy, I often find my self writing some sort of prose. Slowly, I find myself writing poems and enjoying it. Most of the poems I write are romantic in nature but I do dable on other subjects now and again.
On a whim, I decided to take a life drawing class. This was something I did just for fun. I quickly found out that I have a hidden affinity for the arts. After a few semesters of drawing, I decided to take my interest in arts into the next level, which is painting. At first I was lost and did not know whcich direction my art work was going. Then I decided that since this is my art work, i should decide on its progress. Slowly I learned techniques and combined them together. I also develop a better understanding of art as I went on. |
