| they come from france. they know how to hype the crowd and... she's been a fan for over a year! you know when you love a group so much that you want to know all about them? and get all their songs even the ones in concerts. imagine if you loved the group and they didn't even speak your language so you translated all their songs? then you'd have to be a super fan then. and she is. she's seen them in concert, requested their videos on much music (she had to tape french kiss just to see it...now that's dedication!) and the love doesn't stop. |

| mmmm...english boys... to be more specific, the boys of the English football team like David Beckham, Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Cole... they were a pleasure to watch and they still are, especially when they beat Argentina at the 2002 world cup, not as much when they lost to Brazil, whatever! they still make millions of pounds and dress real smart. |
| this could actually be one of the best movies...ever! as i say, it is no longer really a movie, just a series of quotes. you can watch it again and again and never get tired of it, and xochi does. to the left there are the stars of the film but those northern monkeys on the right, are really what did it for me. "i'm trying to find out where they keep they're mooney!" "can't you see they don't have any mooney, they can't even afford new furniture!" soooo funny! |
| as if i was done talking about football! Team Senegal is second to none. Totally talented, Totally cute and Totally fun. it is really too bad that they didn't make it farther. i remember, when they were eliminated, xochi was sooo sad, and especially since we could hear the damn turkish neighbours celebrating...wanks! better luck next time boys and good job this time. it was truly an honour to watch. |
| last but not least, another movie that xochi truly enjoys, Gosford Park and many others like it. Maybe it's the accents, maybe it's the clothes, but she can't get enough of these period pieces. They are entertaining though, so I'll give her that much. I think what she really liked in this movie was that guy up there, i forget his name (he was the killer in the movie!)...oh wait did i give it away? JAST KIDDING! find out for yourself, its at a Blockbuster near you! |
| So, these are a few things that my sister enjoys. They are all fun and interesting and things that are worth enjoying. I did miss out a few things though, like UK Garage and the movie Monsoon Wedding (chunari chunari!). Maybe i'll save that up for next time. But i honestly encourage you to listen to some Saian, see Lock Stock and download pictures of David Beckham. It makes Xochi happy and it will make you too! |
