~Photo session tips~
~1~
The more the (not) merrier.
It helps to have as few people around the photo session as possible.
It is hard for any animal (including us) to know what is wanted from them when uncle Bob is shouting from here and cousin Joe is calling from there.
The less distractions the animals have to deal with, the faster and more productive the session will be.

~2~
Sit and stay. (for dogs)
It is a big help if your dog knows the sit and or stay command.
But it is not necessary.
You can practice these easy commands with your dog for a week just prior to your session.

~3~
Patience is a virtue.
Photo sessions last from an hour to two hours, this is plenty of time to achieve great results. A little patience goes a long way.

~4~
Fun for everyone.
It is very important that the animals have just as much fun as we do. The moment the photo session becomes intensive, it causes the animals to immediately shut down.
(Any kind of yelling or hitting of the animals will immediately cause us to pack up and leave)

~5~
Location, location, location!
The
ideal location for your photo session is a safe and secure fenced-in back yard, (for dogs that is) with lush evergreens and some flowers.
We know this is not always possible, but we can wish can't we?
For indoor sessions we do need a very bright room preferably near a widow with at least a six by six area to work in.

~6~
Last but to least.
Please let the photographer work her magic..
She has been working with animals for ten years. She is very sensitive to the animal world and she knows what it takes to get the job done.

Your input and suggestions are always welcome.
