Canine Distemper
Canine Distemper is a very contagious and often deadly virus that attacks a dog's respiratory, gastrointestinal and nervous systems. It's spread through contact with an infected animal, its feces or its urine, and also as an airborne infection.
Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, runny eyes and nose, fever, diarrhea, vomiting, lack of appetite and seizures.
A series of initial vaccinations, are administered to puppies as young as 6 weeks old, and follwed up by booster shots, scheduled by your vet.
Infectious Canine Hepatitis aka Adenovirus, is a viral disease that affects a dog's liver, kidneys and cells lining the blood vessels. It is spread through contact with an infected animal, its feces, urine or saliva.

Symptoms include high fever, inflammation of the mouth or nose, loss of appetite, thirst, diarrhea, abdominal pain, liver damage, hemorrhage and depression.
A series of initial vaccinations are given to puppies 6-8 weeks old, and are usually followed up by yearly booster shots.
