Felines from around the country will have the opportunity to compete for "Top Cat" status at the 13thth Annual Pawprints in the Sand Cat Show. Professional breeders will be on hand to answer any questions about their cats, and give advice on grooming techniques and health issues.
The Show will be open to the public beginning at 10AM on both Saturday and Sunday and should provide an entertaining day for spectators. Cat shows across the country are rapidly increasing in popularity. Last year over 5000 Norfolk area residents stopped by to see these beautiful cats "up close and in the fur."

Show Hall - The show will be held at the Khedive Temple, 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23320, (757) 420-4510. Directions will be sent with the confirmation. The Show Hall is both heated and air conditioned. This is a Non Smoking facility. Parking is free for exhibitors and spectators.

Show Hotels
The recommended show hotel is now the Red Roof Inn at 724 Woodlake Drive in Chesapeake, VA. Please call 1-757-523-0123 or 1-800-RED-ROOF for reservations. Specific directions will accompany your confirmation. Reservations must be made by January 19th, 2004 for rate guarantee.

Entry Fees

Fees MUST accompany the entry form. There will be an additional $30 charge for any FAX or email entry if payment is not received prior to the show start. Remember our 250 entry limit!
Entries ‑ Entries must be typed or printed legibly,
signed and submitted on an official CFA entry form. Entry clerk will call
COLLECT if any questions arise concerning your entry. A $30 check fee will be
charged on all returned checks.
NOTE:
Hours ‑
Check‑in on Saturday 8:00 ‑ 9:30 Advertised show hours are 10‑5
Sat, and 9‑4 Sunday.
Household Pets ‑ HHPs; will judged in
all 6 rings. Adult cats (8 month or older) must be altered. Kittens must be at
least 4 months of age.
Benching ‑ All benching will be by
exhibitor and no changes in assignment will be allowed without permission of
the Show Manager. Cages are 22"W
x 22"H x 22"D. Benching
request made at the time of entry will be honored whenever possible.
Supplies ‑
Clay litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food, and
water/food dishes.
Health ‑ This is a non‑vetted show. Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to have cats and kittens inoculated for FeLV/FIV. Cats must be free of fungus, fleas, ear/body mites and contagious diseases. Exhibitors in violation will be told to leave the show hall.
