Here is Lacey taking a little
nap with some of the pups born June 05.
Here, Peaches is just a little
busy, taking care of 11 pups. She had seven born 6 June 05 and Star
had four born on 16 June 05. Star was not able to care for and feed
her pups, so Granny Peaches took them in.
Puppies make me smile.
Who can look at a wagon full of pups without smiling? They are today’s
joy and tomorrow’s bunny chasers.
Pups sure grow fast.
These young hounds are ready for some training.
Hurricane Katrina’s wrath was
hard on my kennels.
All those nice shade trees are
not so nice when they fall on your kennels.
The storm left the forest of
South Mississippi in a mess. Most areas were impossible to hunt.
We had more than our share of
looses under all the downed trees. The hardwood was heavy and tight
and hard for a hound to penetrate.
What this girl needs is some
more crickets.
They are fun to catch and tasty
to eat.
Lacey has continued to study
dance. Here my very talented granddaughter is on her way to a Christmas
Pageant.
She was the star at the spring
show.
This girl has grace, style and
beauty. She also has a very proud Paw Pa.
All those hours of dancing across
the living room floor is really paying off.
Tap, hip-hop, ballet and more.
Lacey can dance.
Lacey has yet another activity
to keep her busy. She now has a new cousin to keep her busy.
Lacey has a cousin and that means that I have a new granddaughter.
Hannah was born 6 July 06.
She is a cutie. July is a good month for pups and granddaughters.
