Spirit Whispers

a spirit that whispers

i listen and want to believe

 am i lying to myself

to afraid to say out loud

or even hint it in a crowd

so for now i'll wear this shroud

and wonder to myself

can you hear me

with your soul

whispering something

never told

i will never be that bold

to say it right out loud

but you know it's there
