The following are Family Coat of Arms that I have found on the internet. I have not done any research to verify which, if any, of these family crests might belong to my particular lines but I have included them here because I found them to be pleasing to the eye. I have added some bits of family info to show how the crest might relate to my family line. I have no intention to insult or usurp any family who has claims to these coat of arms, so if you take offense that I have included your particular crest on this page, by all means contact me and I will remove it.
WILSON
My great-grandparents were James F. WILSON and Mary Lee PATON, both from Edinburgh, Scotland. Their daughter, my maternal grandmother, was Christian Marie WILSON whose first husband was Frederick John GATES of Land's End, England. Her second husband, my grandfather, was Frederick Legross WILSON of Kingston, Ontario. His parents were George WILSON and Mary Macauley.
PATON
My great-great grandparents were Alexander PATON of Edinburgh and Robina ROBERTSON of Perth, Scotland. Their daughter was Mary Lee PATON who married James F. WILSON. The pronunciation of the name PATON is actually 'PAY-TON".
ROBERTSON
My great-grandparents were George WILSON and Mary Macauley. Their son, Frederick Legross WILSON born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, was the second husband of Christian Marie WILSON. They resided in Hamilton, Ontario. Family lore sees George being born in the USA (Florida?) and of English stock. Mary MACAULEY is believed to be of Irish descent.

The above two PATTON coat of arms plaques are rather nice. Notice the different spelling.

My great-great grandmother was Robina ROBERTSON of Perth, Scotland. She married Alexander PATON of Edinburgh, Scotland at Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
I used the ROBERTSON family crest here as I could not find a coat of arms to display.
