Welcome to my WATTS in Canada genealogy pages. These pages were constructed purely for entertainment purposes and do not propose to be expert analyses in any way, shape or form. The following pages represent the result of many long years of researching, transcribing and extracting data from various sources relating to my WATTS family surname.
I wish to thank family members whose dedication and devotion to this project assisted me to create this tribute to our family. Thanks also to newly found cousins and to those strangers who offered to look up data that helped me to find elusive ancestors.
The principle names that I am researching are: WATTS, MULLETT, AMY, DODDS, RUTHERFORD, CONQUERGOOD. They settled mainly in Kingston Frontenac, Belleville, Huron Co. and Hamilton, Ontario. Some moved to Western Canada and to the USA. Other Scottish surnames of interest are WILSON, PATON, LOW, GATES.

I have attempted to include many online searchable databases because I realize that many people cannot get to a Family History Center, the Archives or their local library for whatever reasons.
As with any undertaking concerning research and the sorting of large amounts of recorded or verbal data, there is always the possibility of misinformation and I have attempted to verify all sources before posting. Some of the data was ascertained by deductive reasoning using a process of elimination. I apologize for any erroneous misrepresentation.
