| Somebody once sent me an e-mail saying they loved mud. I hate mud, can't think of one good thing to say about it. Here's a couple of examples of BAD mud. |
This poor bugger came all the way from the US to ride in the '92 ISDE at Cessnock. After successfully negotiating 5 of the 6 days, riders had to ride through an old, disused railway tunnel. The unfortunate riders found this tunnel had a bit of a soft bottom to it. Many frazed their clutches, as did this dude. The day 6 moto was just 3 km away....how would you feel. Note the back (and front) wheel. |
This is my old TS 250 after a particularly muddy Gymkana in Townsville. It rained a bit the night before.... |

Wrong line. This was meant to be a bit of a motocross on the day of the Gymkana. It was held on the inside of a short circuit ("Flat Track"), so didn't have any natural features such as jumps. But it did have MUD. |
Now this is sloppy, stinking mud. Don't you just love cleaning this crap out of everything. And how comfortable the rider looks. And think of the chain.... well lubricated... |
