Somebody once sent me an e-mail saying they loved mud. I hate mud, can't think of one good thing to say about it. Here's a couple of examples of BAD mud.

This poor bugger came all the way from the US to ride in the '92 ISDE at Cessnock. After successfully negotiating 5 of the 6 days, riders had to ride through an old, disused railway tunnel. The unfortunate riders found this tunnel had a bit of a soft bottom to it. Many frazed their clutches, as did this dude. The day 6 moto was just 3 km away....how would you feel. Note the back (and front) wheel.

This is my old TS 250 after a particularly muddy Gymkana in Townsville. It rained a bit the night before....

Wrong line.

This was meant to be a bit of a motocross on the day of the Gymkana. It was held on the inside of a short circuit ("Flat Track"), so didn't have any natural features such as jumps. But it did have MUD.

Now this is sloppy, stinking mud. Don't you just love cleaning this crap out of everything. And how comfortable the rider looks. And think of the chain.... well lubricated...
