| Mahatma Teo, also known as Teo Baba, was a Swiss painter who lived the final decades of his life in Kathmandu, Nepal, where he created his art, worshipped God, cared for the poor and abandoned of Nepal, and was a true friend to numerous Nepalis and travellers. Though I only knew him for the years I lived in Kathmandu (1985-86), he had a profound effect on my life. This site is devoted to the man, his memory, and his legacy.
