| Jimmy Pavaroddy | Jim of Oz | Uncle Jimbo | Rabbi James | Jim Bob | GI Jim |
| The "Italian Virtuoso" was born in Philadelphia, PA many, many years ago and resided in Southern California from July 2, 1970 thru July 5, 1990. It was here that his gift of "manualism" was born, the unique ability to play songs by simply squeezing the palms of his hands together (that's "handfart" music to my Southern friends...). "Luciano" can also play songs by controlling the air flow from the nozzle of a bicycle tire pump (K-Mart Black, $9.99). The Maestro has performed in many comedy clubs, churches, retirement homes, prisons and TV Shows. Pavaroddy's musical comedy act can be 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 45 minutes in length and can be customized for virtually any occasion or audience of any age. In December of 2000 Jim joined forces with "The Handman" Bruce Gaston, and World-Class Hand Whistler Ben Brenner to form "The Three Tendons". This trio appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on February 15, 2001. The rest is history -- cause herstory is too long. |

| Now where exactly did HAND MUSIC originate, or perhaps, WHY? Did the first man Adam entertain Eve with MANUALISM? According to Ripley's, the first known MANUALIST was a man named Cecil Dill, whose archive footage from 1914 can be viewed at any Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum. The most famous manualist of our generation is John Twomey, who appeared on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" many times from 1972 until 1991 as well as many other TV shows and live appearances throughout the world. Now retired, the torch has been HANDED to Bruce Gaston, the HANDMAN, of Allentown, PA, whose amazing VIBRATO can be appreciated on his full length CD "Amazing Feats on Musical Hands." Bruce and yours truly, Jim Rotondo, partnered in July of 2000, and, in December of the same year formed the now legendary NOVELTY SUPERGROUP "THE THREE TENDONS" with Ben "Gone With The Wind" Brenner, Hand Chamber Blowist. The trio, after only ONE REHEARSAL, was immediately booked to appear on "Angelo Live", "Philly After Midnight", and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". The Tendons continue to maintain the theory that SOMEDAY THE AUTHORITIES WILL CONFISCATE ALL MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS, INCLUDING KEYBOARDS, PERCUSSION, STRING, AND OF COURSE, WIND. Thus they continue to perfect their unique artform known as MANUALISM... |
