Paul J. Zaura, President has been involved with analysis and improvement of business processes for over 35 years. He has participated in cross-functional task forces implementing Quality Systems and Process Improvements in a variety of industries including automotive, aerospace, information systems, banking, trucking, construction materials, electronics, pharmaceuticals, steel, and nuclear. He is an expert on training and implementation of Six-Sigma tools. He was a contributor to the first implementations of Six-Sigma concepts at Motorola, Inc. in all of their businesses. He served on the committee that developed the Quality System Review (QSR) standard used by many industries to assess the maturity of their Quality Systems. He served on a task force to improve an order-processing system which applied process improvement techniques for the first time in an Information Systems environment.
Mr. Zaura is an accomplished presenter, facilitator and teacher with emphasis on Design for Manufacturability, Process Mapping/Cycle-Time Reduction, and Designed Experiments. He has instructed suppliers for General Electric Aircraft Engines in Six-Sigma (Black Belt) methodologies and has presented in many areas of the world. He is currently concentrating on Quality System and GMP compliance implementation in the pharmaceutical industry.
He has held Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance assignments at Motorola Inc, which have crossed a variety of functions and processes. He also has consulted with a variety of companies worldwide as part of Motorola University.
