I� found out about this concert in on Aug. 31st, 99, and a couple weeks later Paul himself told me he'd be touring, and that he's be coming back with the Wilkinson. The concert was officially announced on Dec. 6th, 99. The� floor tickets for the Ottawa show were 125 $ because the� money that they were making was� going to the Arthritis society . I , along with several other fans, was very upset ... I mean , for 125 $$$, we got 3 tickets to the show ( but the tix sucked incredibly)...

But I was happy that I was going.�� I went to McDonalds for diner, like I always do before a concert... Then we went to the Civic Center. Had to wait 40 mins to get in ... I was wearing toeless shoes, so I was pretty cold. I bought me a TTT shirt as a souvenir, and then I went to my seat. It wasn?t that bad of a seat, although I did want to be on the floor .... Someone came up behind me, and was calling my name, and it was an old friend from elementary school. She's a security guard ( SG)� there !!!

I was like� OMG !!! Do you think you can hook me up with a floor seat ?!?!?!
Her ~� Yeah, just come a little later, and I'll find a seat for you
Me ~ OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AH !!!!!!!!!!!

I met up with my friends, Karoline and Pam, and we hung out for a while. Eventually, I went to my seat. My mom and aunt were there waiting patiently for the show to start. Finally, the lights dimmed ... I go crazy� The Wilkinsons opening song is a new one that will be on there upcoming album ... I went nuts when they did "Then There's You " ... That's my all time fave Wilks song. Love "Yodellin' Blues"� too.... Oh, and Amanda must have about 2,00$ when she sang 26c 'cause everyone brought her money.�� Finally, I found my friend the SG, and she took me down to the floor ...

FRONT ROW !!!!!!� I was sitting in the seat right beside the one I sat in last time I saw Paul in Dec. 98. When the Wilks did "Shame on Me", I went to the front and took 2 pics ... one of all of them, and then I was like "TYLER !!!! TYLER !!!! TYLER !!!!!" until he looked @ me, and then I took a pic of him.� The another SG came up to me and was like��

SG ~ OK, you can stay, just don't run up to the stage too often to take pics, 'cause everyone's going to want to go up... Just behave, OK ?!
Me ~� Ok !!! I'll behave !!!�

" From Calgary, AB... PAUL BRANDT !!!!!!� I WENT CRAZY !!!!! It was so hard to sit still, but I had to behave ... *lol* Paul saw me and smiled !!!!!! He was wearing a black shirt, with a black t-short underneath, and black jeans ... no leather pants ...� YEAH !!! I lost it when he said "Got the pedal to the metal, got the top rolled down, I wanna scream and shout about the looove we've found !!!!!! "~ That's my fave line in 3T !!! ... You know that photographer guy I mentioned earlier, he came back and gave me a backstage pass, along with a roll of film ... It took me about 30 seconds to realize that it was a roll of pics of Paul !!!!!! I started screaming like crazy !!!!! And it's a 36 picture film too !!!� This is too cute ~ one pf the security guard knew the words to all of Paul's songs !!!

When he did "It's a Beautiful Thing"� I took out the baby tee, and waved it around , and he nodded and smiled !!!!!! The crowd went nuts when he sang "Really and Truly" with Amanda. He got down on one knee @ the end !!! ... *sigh*�� I bounced around in my chair the whole time ... I was bouncing so much that I kinda broke it ... *lol* I swear, I did !!! I just moved over in the other seat !!! ... When Paul told us to get up @ the end, I was the only person that ran to the stage !!! ONLY PERSON !!! Can you believe that ?!?! ... That was kinda sad ... Lot's of the people that wear there were all dressed up 'cause of the pre and post-show receptions.

ANYWAY,� Paul perform a rendition of�� "Summer of '69 " !!!!!! That was the highlight of the show for me . At the end when before he left, he shook my hand ... *sigh*�� I was sitting down for most of the encore .

This girl came up to me and said:� "I hear you're one of Paul's biggest Fan "
Me ~ " YEAH !!!!!!!"
Her ~ I coordinated this thing... I just want to� thank you for coming down!!!

While we wear talking another security guard brought me another backstage pass, and he sat beside me and was like "Man, this guy's awesome !!! ... Paul's encore numbers included " Movin' On" , " I Do", and " Cryin' in the Rain" "When it was completely over, I went up to the stage, and found a Wilks guitar pick !!! ... And then, Steve� was giving away Paul' s guitar pick ...��

Me ~ ME !!! Please !!!�
S ~� Yeah, you definitely get one !!!

So I got my pick and started� to talk with him . He was so sweet !!!� I asked him for a bottle of water 'cause I was so de dehydrated !!! ... I went out to the car to get some of my stuff and went back in for the Meet 'n' Greets. Karoline saved me a spot in line, and I told some people where Paul was that I was meeting the Wilks first, and then I'd go see Paul ... They were told me it was OK. When the Wilks arrived, I kept on calling Tyler's named, until he waved to me :)�

Me~ You know, I saw you last summer when you were in Ottawa, and you were doing this interview at the Y 105 booth, and the DJ said to you� "Tyler, we hear you've been seeing these older women, who might these older women be ???" and I screamed out "ME !!!!" , and then you blushed !!!"
T ~ Yeah, I blush easily ... Except here 'cause it's so cold !!!

I got my pic taken with them, and they signed my CD. Karoline met them after. She was so in shock, it was really cute :)�� So then , I made my way to Paul's M&G��

Other person� "Excuse me, where are you going ???"
Me ~� I'm going to meet Paul !!!
OP ~"I'm sorry, but Paul has already left !!!"�

I totally lose it and start bawling !!!!! OMG !!! I was sooooooo mad !!! Steve came to talk to me though, he tried to comfort me ... Some guy told me that he was in the shower, and that 'TRY� to get him to come see me after . So I'm just sanding there, crying, and crying, and crying. Karoline and Pam had to leave ... So I'm crying and waiting for Paul to come, and about 15 mins later, I see this dog, and I and realize, OMG it's Bayleigh !!! ... and then I see this guy walking beside him, and I realize� OMG !!!!! It's Paul !!!!!!! ... He said hi to me, and left ... ( I keep on crying .... ) I was totally speechless !!!! They told me that he'd come back ...�� ... and eventually he did ...

I just ran into his arms, smooched my face into coat and cried !!! I gave him a framed copy of the article that was in the paper of us last Sept.��

Me ~ " You have no idea how proud I am of that picture !!! I carry it around in my wallet, and show it off to everyone like if you were my child !!! Paul ~ *lol*� He signed my huge poster.

He talked some more .... Big hug ... Then we took some hug pics :) You know, I actually was able to talk to him this time !!! I� was so excited !!! ... I cried the whole time ... and I kinda had mascara on my face ... Gave Paul another hug, and he had to leave. You won't believe what he was wearing ... Overalls, a baseball cap, and a coat over that !!! So cute !!!!!!�

So that was my night !!! I started off with bad seats ... Ended up with a front row seat� ... Met the Wilks ... Almost didn't meet Paul ... Paul came back ... and I was� on cloud 9 !!!!!! What an awesome night !!! ...
