After sitting on a log for a bit, and looking at the view for a bit, the next logical step was to have a wade! The water was freezing, and the riverbed was made up of lots of smooth pebbles and rocks, so there was always the danger that we'd fall over and ruin the camera! The clothes would have dried in a matter of minutes, but the cold probably would have given me a heart attack. Not only were the rocks really slippery, they really hurt to walk on! Still, it was worth it, just to go out and sit on the little island for a bit (which is where I took the previous photo)
