This snap of the famous statue was taken on the Staten Island Ferry. This is a free service connecting the NY Boroughs of Manhattan with Staten Island, as is very popular with the tourists as it gives great close up views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline, and as I have mentioned, it's free. Most people just come straight back on the ferry without getting off, but we decided to have a little wander around Staten Island first.
