DC Mall
This is the view down the Mall from the upper steps of the Capitol building. The big obelisk is the Washington Memorial, and beyond that, you can just make out the Lincoln Memorial. Lining the Mall are the many parts of the Smithsonian museum, including the Air and Space Museum, that we nipped into for a bit, all free of charge of course, to see things like the actual Apollo 11 pod and touch a piece of moon rock! Something to do, I s'pose!
