Other beach view
This is looking in the opposite direction from the previous photo, and was taken from the sea wall. The bridge you can see in the foreground is the Burrad Bridge. You can also see Granville Island past the bridge, which is a centre for arts and has a vibrant market. Just behind where I was standing to take this photo is a small field where I often played football, and the sea wall itself which was always busy with joggers, cyclists, skaters and people just out for a pleasant walk to take in the stunning scenery!
