Even I had to join in the spirit of the day by wearing a red waistcoat at work (anyone who saw me, don't laugh!), but it wasn't too bad, I suppose.

2000; Canada Day. Vancouver's Y2K Canada Day celebrations
were mainly concentrated around Canada Place. This luckless
fellow had just taken part in a display when he was set
apon by a mob of people (including me!) with cameras
asking him to pose for photos! He must have been there
till it got dark! Even I had to join in the spirit of the day by wearing a red waistcoat at work (anyone who saw me, don't laugh!), but it wasn't too bad, I suppose. |
