Robert Laver
After ending Mark's streak of two consecutive Fantasy Football league titles a year ago, Robert was on his own personal mission to match Mark's achievement by retaining the title this time round. He didn't start too strongly, he began to wonder whether it was going to be a tough second season. However, come Christmas, Robert's 'Team McSheffrey' side found form and hit top-spot and continued unmoved throughout 2007.

Mark Lander
After losing his Championship title to newcomer Robert Laver, Mark had a point to prove in the special edition World Cup Fantasy Football. He had his critics and was told his team had "many flaws", and after the first round, he lost his 2 important Czechs, which was a huge blow. However, Mark never gave up and with Cannavaro, Lahm, Pirlo and Podolski consistantly picking up points, Mark seemed to settle at the top of the table and even though the latter stages were double points, where anything could happen, he never looked like budging.
Mark won with 164 points, 27 ahead of 2nd place.
2005/06
Robert Laver
Only the second person to win Championship Fantasy Football in the three seasons it has been running, Robert selected some real talent at the start of the season including 148 point Ashley Young for just 2.9m and the ever consistent Nicky Shorey. He battled to the last day to overtake Joe Crizzle and won in style as Watford, the team he supports, beat Leeds 3-0 in the Play-Off Final.

Mark went on to complete his second win in the second year of Fantasy Football in the newly named 'Championship'. Even though he started a week later than most other players, Mark won the league with high scorers such as Nicky Shorey and top point scorer Nathan Ellington.
