From General Semantics Bulletin Autumn-Winter 1949-1950 (Numbers One & Two)

INTRODUCION A LOS SISTEMAS NON-ARISTOTELICOS
por Alfred Korzybski A Spanish translation of 'General Semantics : An Introduction to Non-aristotelian Systems,' the paper which Members of the Institute receive at the time they make their first membership-contribution to support the Institute, is now available. (Printed by photo offset, post paid etc.) This 'authorized translation' was made in Spring 1949 by Joseph Vidal-Llecha (Dr. of Law, University of Madrid) to accompany the invitations to the Third Congress which the University of Denver sent to institutions of higher learning in all the countries of Latin America. The paper will shortly be published in Episteme, Journal of the Argentine Association for Epistemology of which one of the editors, Dr. Armando Astie Vera, is a Member of the Institute. Frequent references to Korzybskian formulations appear in Episteme.
Dr. Vidal is now teaching at Michigan College of Mining & Technology ; he and his wife, Elizabeth Vidal, attended the 1949 Summer Seminar-Workshop. His translation is one of several which have been undertaken in the past three years. To those who have co-operated in the task, our warm thanks, especially J. D. Ramos and his collaborator Talbot Winchell, of Los Angeles and Pasadena, respectively, who submitted the first Spanish translation of this paper.
