[The above quoted from The Crisis in Psychology by Hans Driesch, Princeton : Princeton University Press and London : Humphrey Milford / Oxford University Press, 1925, p. (5). Follow some excerpts from the PREFACE to said text].

"The problems discussed in this book have formed the subject matter of a number of lectures which I delivered during the years 1922 and 1923 in various parts of the world. In the form of a complete course these lectures were presented at the National University of Peking ; shorter courses were given at Nanking and at the Imperial University of Tokyo, and all that refers to normal psychology was condensed into a single lecture delivered at Columbia University. Therefore, when asked by the Princeton University Press to choose a subject for a volume, I did not hesitate. The subject selected had already been received with the greatest interest in both the Orient and the Occident, and was t the same time the one in which my own interests are at present centered.

[as given by the University of California : was Carsun Chang a "[pseud.]", Professor ? (WPT)]

Zhang, Junmai, 1886-1969. Title Wang Yang-ming: idealist philosopher of sixteenth-century China. Publisher Jamaica, N.Y., St. John's University Press, 1962. Description 102 p. Series Asian philosophical studies,no.1 Note Bibliography: p. 99-102.

[To any University Professors and/or philosophers who CAN read, (if any) :
There has been reported some influence of Wang Yang-ming on George Berkeley ; possibly via Leibnitz (whose Novissima Sinica might be relevant) ; possibly independently via some translations into the Latin of Confucius, the latter text having been actually quoted by Berkeley.
If this be "not my subject", Professor, then there might be nothing left of your subject eventually due to the works by people who specialise in international dis-order — (usually for the sake of some ill-conceived then ill-gotten gain)
There are such parties present on the planet (2007) ; there have been such parties present on the planet in the entire course of the 20th century ; anybody pretending otherwise will invariably be found to be either one of some such party or some naive fool deceived by the former sort.
The literary record of the entire 20th century is replete with the products of some such people (who specialised in the international dis-order. Confer the methods of the Red Bolsheviks, for one notable example). If this be overlooked (and if the falsehoods planted, often by some recognised 'philosophers' or by some writers lying "in the name of science", went uncorrected) then the entire Humanity could only continue towards some mass delusion ; and there cannot be anything good expected from any such situation. (WPT).]

[Comment such a question as 'Das Lebensproblem in China und Europa' is arguably not any less actual today (2007) then it was in 1922 ; the reported date of this publication. Please mind the quantity of error introduced into the Man's records between 1922 and 2007. What use proceeding based on error, Professor ? even if only in part on error ? The latter statement does not mean anything better than the former — the least misconception on the level of somebody's premises might bring about the slaughter of millions. Confer the history of the 20th century. (WPT)]

Note follows ALL I have found in the Internet (2007) on Chu Shi Ying (confer the dedication by Hans Driesch reproduced at the top of page). Whether this be the author to whom the text by Driesch was dedicated I have (naturally) no faintest idea. This might be a relevant question, Professor (if any who can think). (WPT).
