There seems to be at least one Cowardly Canaille Club of some sort ; possibly more, in operation. One relatively certain guess could be somebody being paid by some psycho-pharmaceutic interests, working for some gains relatively puny in comparison to the destruction wrought by mere petty criminals.

The "common man", not relatively well informed, it presumably the main target and the first victim of campaigns of disinformation ; not the only target. "You should have seen" the blindness of numerous 'intellectuals' and of other people who should know better but do not.
