Ride to New Territories
Introduction
This was the second ride in May, and it was held a week after the final exam. The main purpose
was to provide an opportunity for all of us to take a bigger rest after having taken the long
and stressful exams. This time, the main participants are my local Senior Allies, Art Lo and Nigel. To make the trip
more fun and enjoyable, I also invited Kevin (GL) to join. The interesting thing is that both
Nigel and Kevin were driving-licensed but both had not actually driven on the road. However,
since they were experienced in car-driving and had been to many remote places, they acted
as living maps for the whole trip.We had driven to the remote, Northern and Western part of the New Territories. We stopped
and taken photos at Lam Tsuen ("Tree of Wishes") and Lau Fau Shan, and we parked the
car in Tuen Mun where we did some shopping and had dinner. The activity ended with all participants being driven home. It is hoped that such an activity and
further more will be forthcoming.
