October 12
Well my background check seems to still be in full swing.  More people are calling me and telling me that they have been contacted asking about me.
Last weekend a retired Regina City police officer came to my door.  Luckily my parents were staying with me for the weekend and were awake when he came around, because Sunday is my day of rest were I like to sleep in nice and late. My dad however is usually up around 7am everyday so he let him in and woke me up.  He showed up around 9am on Sunday knocking on the doors of the other people in my apartment building.  He asking my neighbours about me, probably to see if I am some kind of hell raiser or something, and he asked me if I knew any of the people on my floor.  I told him no, that most of the people on my floor have just moved here, the apartment across from me was just rented out yesterday.  I told him I knew the guy above me, and he looked at his sheet and said he already phoned him and talked to him.   Apparently that was all he wanted to ask me and he left to knock on some more doors.

Also when I passed my interview in September the interviewer told me that since they have reduced the length of the depot course, we would have to do some course before we got to depot.  He gave me a sheet with a website address where I could sign up for it.  Now, the sheet he had must of been outdated because the password on it didn't work and I was left looking at an error page.  Luckily there was an email address that I could write to if I was having any trouble.  I wrote to it and the webmaster gave me the correct password and signed me up for the courses.  I have to do the radio course and the vision of policing in 2000 course.

So I have been studing the 10 codes trying to memorize them all, there is about 50 of them that I have to know.  Then there is a test I have to write and pass.  So in my spare time I am studing up and learning as much as I can so I can pass this test and say "that test is 10-24".
