I went and got my fingerprints redone today, the Commissionaire that did them this time did a better job of them. But when I brought them to F division Loraine (the security/background check person) told me that they were better but not great. GOOD GRIEF!!
But she then told me some good news. She said that they will let people into Depot if they haven't totally completed their security/background test. They have some special name that I can't quite recall for what it is called, so she said that this mess up shouldn't slow me down. Good news tidbit #1.
Good news tidbit #2, she also asked me if I would like to be on the short notice list. Sometimes the other divisions have trouble getting their cadets ready in time so they will take people off of this short notice list. I of course said "just tell me when you want me there and I will show up!!!" So there is still some faint hope that I might be getting the call this year instead of next year. Excellent!
Finally some good news from recruiting, I was starting to fear when they called it usually meant that something was missing or not right. The next call I get might be THE CALL. Oh, the possibilities!!!!
