| I had my ride along with the Lumsden RCMP last night. It was a pretty quiet night out there. We never got any calls to respond to so we did some 'pipeline' stuff. Pipeline stuff is looking for people transporting drugs from one place to another. We would look for vehicles that were typical of people carrying drugs, such as rental cars, old beat up wrecks and cars with lots of people crammed into them. I can't go into the specifics of who we spotted and what we found due to a sheet I signed. But it was cool to see what I could be doing in a few months (hopefully). The constable I was with was my age and I enjoyed going on the ride along with him so I will see if I can setup another ride along soon. On another note I did my monthly phone call to recruiting to let them know that I am still alive and checking on my file. But nothing new to report, I am still in the security phase of the process. PS; I saw the new Lord of The Rings movie and it was amazing. If you were even thinking about seeing this movie I would highly recommend it!!!
